Dogly is a UK dog gear and advice site, run by me (Rob) and my dog, Lord Bentley — who serves as chief inspector, quality controller, and the reason most of this exists in the first place.
I started Dogly to do one simple thing well: help UK dog owners find gear that’s actually worth buying. If you’ve ever tried to choose a dog bed, a cooling mat or a winter coat online, you’ll know the problem — endless near-identical products, made-up brand names, fake-sounding reviews, and “best of” lists that clearly tested nothing. It’s a maze, and it’s easy to waste money on tat.
What Dogly does differently
I’m not a vet, and I won’t pretend to be. What I am is an experienced dog owner who does the legwork so you don’t have to:
- I read through the real owner reviews — the critical ones as well as the glowing ones
- I compare the specs, sizes and materials that actually matter
- I check UK prices and availability, not American ones
- I filter out the anonymous dropship junk and the brands that vanish in a month
- And I’m honest about the downsides — every product has them, and you deserve to know before you buy
Everything I recommend is chosen with British weather, British homes and British dogs in mind. And there’s one final quality check on everything: if Lord Bentley wouldn’t tolerate it, it doesn’t make the cut.
